Russian Names of People I Have Known
Ken Drummond

On September 11, 2001 I was on retreat at Cherry Valley. The man who delivered the propane mentioned the bombing of the World Trade Centers but it was several days before I saw a newspaper and learned what had happened. In the meantime I continued merrily on my retreat and below is one of the projects I did two days after 9/11. I grew up in a town in Canada where many of the residents were of Russian descent. Below is a list of last names of people I actually knew, or at least knew of. I wrote down all of these names from memory, mostly from 30 or 40 years ago.
