More Light For Halloween This Year This year, for the first time, U.S. clocks will fall back a week later than previously, providing a Halloween evening that will remain light longer and may be safer for the kids. President Bush signed an energy bill in 2005 that, among other things, extends Daylight Savings by three weeks in the spring and by one week in the fall.
